Is wood removal charged on top?
No. At Arb'Ouest, removal is included in the price of the pruning or the felling. The wood does not go to the tip: branches are chipped, logs go for heating, good trunks go to a local sawmill.

The wood that leaves your garden does not go to the tip. It is chipped into mulch, cut into logs for heating, or sent as timber to a local sawmill. That is what makes a price with removal included possible.

Yes. Arb'Ouest chips the branches on site with its own chipper, and whatever you do not keep leaves the same day. No pile is left behind for later.
Small branches go through the chipper on site and come out as chips you can use as mulch the same day.
Medium-sized wood becomes firewood. Oak, beech, fruit trees: the species found in gardens between Fouesnant and Concarneau make good logs. Straight trunks of large diameter go to a local sawmill, where they keep their value as timber.
That is what makes it possible to quote a price with removal included. When the wood ends up at the tip, someone pays for the skip and the trip, and it is always the client.
RCW is spread on the surface, never dug in. A few centimetres at the foot of a border hold moisture and slow down weeds.
Fresh, it uses up nitrogen as it breaks down. On an established border, this does not show; on seedlings or a young plant, keep it away from the base or wait until it has been through a winter.

Everything you need to know before contacting us
Ramial chipped wood (RCW, BRF in French) is made from chipped small branches. Spread as mulch, it holds moisture, improves soil structure and feeds its microbial life.
Hardwood chippings, no, not measurably. A heavy load of conifer, pine or cypress, changes things: keep it for paths or small amounts, not for the vegetable garden.
They stay with you if you want them, tipped at the foot of your borders. Otherwise they leave with the rest, and that removal is already in the price.
Yes, all or part of it: logs, chippings, trunks. Say so when the quote is drawn up rather than on the day of the work, since the volume to remove changes, and so does the price. The rest goes to mulch, firewood or a local sawmill.
